Weddings at The Dalcy
Blending trendy with elegance to make all of your chic Chicago wedding dream vibes come true. Spoiler: This is not your parents’ downtown venue, but it’s also not the low-key totally unfinished warehouse space either.
The Dalcy is a newer event space in the popular Fulton Market District. Housed in a historic building, this former warehouse has been updated with chic touches, blending a perfect mix of history and modern sophistication. Think exposed beams and brick walls paired with elegant chandeliers and exquisite details like Italian porcelain floors. It all makes for a romantic, moody vibe.
The space on the third floor is large and open, and some ingenious partitioning (temporary walls descend from the ceiling!) makes it really customizable. That’s one of the things I love about this venue - the space is elegant but still blank enough to make it your own.
Beyond the modern amenities like generous dressing rooms, valet parking (a thoughtful detail to offer guests considering the popularity of the neighborhood!), and a venue chef who will work with you to customize menus, The Dalcy also boasts a rooftop patio. It’s a pretty space full of greenery that takes advantage of it’s fantastic location with views of the surrounding city. Bonus: The decor already in place makes for a great, modern backdrop for family photos!
The Dalcy is newer on the Chicago wedding venue scene, but it’s definitely making its mark as a trendy yet elegant location for weddings and receptions.
Ceremony & Reception Spaces
Third Floor Venue: The 6,000 square foot event hall sits on the third floor, with an open floor plan and large, arched windows. The space can be partitioned for smaller gatherings, but in total can host up to 600.
Rooftop Patio: The Dalcy’s rooftop patio is perfect for summer events with can’t-miss skyline views. The backdrops, views, plus greenery everywhere—it all makes for a space with outstanding drinks and details.

Wedding at the Dalcy
I was there with them the day they eloped and got to be with them again this past summer when they threw a big party to celebrate their wedding at The Dalcy. And the Dalcy is one of those Chicago venues that knows how to serve a whole mood. Regina and Paul created a day that was chill and focused on having a great time, but still, very put together with impeccable details. They used the indoor event space and the rooftop patio to give their guests plenty of space to hang out and celebrate while also enjoying the city.

What’s Nearby?
Just west of the Loop, The Dalcy is in the trendy Fulton Market District, the former warehouse district that has been transformed into a hotspot for cafes, nightlife, and boutique shopping. Most of all, it’s a foodie’s paradise! The Dalcy is easily accessible from downtown, though the popularity of the district can make parking tricky if you’re driving. We recommend taking the L (the Green Line to Morgan-Lake) or hopping in a taxi or car service, like Lyft.
