REAL weddings at the Four Seasons Chicago: Abbey & Charlie
Abbey and Charlie’s Four Seasons wedding was seamless, start to finish. You know when you walk in somewhere and you just feel cared for … that’s what their lively, winter wedding felt like. It was that perfect combo of traditional Jewish weddings and fun parties, with every detail considered. It’s no wonder they chose to celebrate at the Four Seasons, a hotel known for its top-notch customer service. It’s one of Chicago’s top venues for a reason, after all.
Choosing a Chicago luxury hotel like the Four Seasons definitely makes it simple to plan a sophisticated wedding, but I also want to highlight Abbey and Charlie’s wedding planner.
I’ve worked with wedding planner Jamie Boton on a number of gorgeous weddings (check out Erin and Jon’s modern luxury nuptials or Anna and Ben’s winter celebration). Jamie pours all her expertise and energy into her couples, and Abbey and Charlie’s wedding day was no different (and it just so happens those last two weddings were featured in major publications!).
The beauty of having a truly great wedding planner isn’t just about hiring someone with fantastic organizational skills (though, let’s be clear, Jamie’s got a ton). It’s also connecting with someone who understands who you are and your vision. That’s so important! When your planner gets you, they’re better able to recommend vendors that will also appreciate your values and vision.
Think of all that time researching vendors, interviewing options to make sure they’re the right fit. Let’s be honest here, it can be a total time suck. But with a good planner, you get those hours back because they can connect you to the right vendor the first time. That gives you more time to just enjoy being engaged. (Imagine that!)
When I work with Jamie, I see someone who really knows her couples. She’s like working with a head coach who puts a ton of effort into making sure the team functions seamlessly. When you trust someone like Jamie, you’ll be able to really celebrate your wedding day knowing she’s got it all under control, which gives each vendor (ahem—your photographer, like me) the ability to focus solely on their part in making your day perfect for you. Whew! All that to say, I’ve loved working with Jamie Boton on weddings like Abbey and Charlie’s.
If you are in the midst of your own wedding planning and looking for other vendor recommendations, send on over a message and I’ll be happy to connect you!
