Artifact Events Wedding - Kate & Matt

No two wedding days are alike - and that is VERY true. It may be the fab fall colors of the bouquet, the heartfelt speeches, or the dynamite lighting during the first dance. Well, Kate & Matt had ALL of that! But also, they had the luxury of an 80 degree October wedding day. Now, that is something rather unheard of -- especially in Chicago. The warmth of the day did not mean there was no sense of autumn -- thanks in large part to Fleur, who knocked it out of the park! The boutonnieres & bouquets were perfection, capturing that October flair Kate & Matt wanted!  So much of the wedding day success comes from the team assembled by the couple. And Fleur is just the beginning.Their picture perfect day couldn't have happened without the rockstar team of Chicago vendors they put together. A huge thanks to Kelly of Five Grain Events for captaining our ship. To Fleur for the most perfectly unique fall palette of florals that coordinated with the gorgeous charcoal grey of Kate's Amsale bridesmaid dresses from Bella Bridesmaids. Kate's Carolina Herrera gown couldn't have suited her style more perfectly and Matt stepped up to the plate with his and his guy's own style from THE BLACK TUXBe sure to scroll all the way to the end for the gorgeous cafe lights from Event Brilliance that warmed up the modern, industrial vibe of Architectural Artifacts, Inc. and set the perfect tone for TVK Orchestra to rock the dance floor. And of course there are so many more amazing vendor team members who work behind the scenes to make for a perfect wedding day: Bianca Sansosti ArtistryBlue Plate Chicago, the team at The Saint James ChapelWest Town Bakery & Diner, and our great driver Reggie, from Chicago Trolley & Double Decker Co. We weren't the only ones taking advantage of the surprisingly warm October day! Don't worry, I have plenty of photos without this lounging gentleman, but the juxtaposition of his beachy vibes with this stunning moment between Kate & Matt just has me constantly giggling every time I see it. As my second photographer, Jamie, and I prepared for the First Dance, we decided I would stay down on the dance floor with Kate & Matt while Jamie climbed up to the various heights Artifact Events has available. This is exactly the photo I was hoping would come from that! When you have the opportunity to have 2 stories of space and cafe lights, always say yes my friends!
