New York City Engagement - Rachel & Matt

It's always fun to be able to turn a challenge into an adventure. When a couple mentions distance ("We're getting married in City A, but we currently live in City B"), I get excited. For one thing, I LOVE to travel. And New York City is one of my favorites! Planning a destination engagement session gives me an opportunity to get to know couples in the city they call home, which can speak volumes to learning someone's personality. When Rachel, Matt & I first started talking, I was actually in New York City at the time so it was only natural that despite their Chicago wedding day plans, I jump back on the quick flight to NYC for a classic New York City engagement session. The dichotomy of switching from utterly romantic to hilarious, all in a heartbeat, is exactly what I think about when I think about these two and it fits right into the many facets NYC has to offer. You may think of it's bustling streets and the lights of Broadway, but for these two the calm boardwalk of Gantry Park is serenity after a long days' work.
