Valley Lo Club Wedding - Kristen & Matt

As the weekend approached, it seemed that without a doubt there would be thunderstorms.  While I'm a skeptic of most weather forecasts, 80% chance is pretty strong, so we packed our big umbrellas & protective rain gear and lined up our Plan B's.  Saturday arrived, and as if the universe was saying "Kristen & Matt, we know today is a big one. Congrats on us," the clouds turned from stormy to ideally puffy white.  The sky was the kind of  bright blue that perfectly complimented Kristen's eyes and the only hint of wet was the humidity (because come on, it's the Midwest.  We can't ask for everything).And so, on a perfectly sunny summer day, under a perfectly blue sky on the roof of the Valley Lo Club Kristen & Matt said "I do."Kristen's Hayley Paige gown fit her like a gloooooove!  More on that gorgeousness soon.From anxious to absolutely glowing... the beauty of a First Look never ceases to amaze me.So about that gown... Yowza Kristen!! By the beaming smile on Matt's face, I think he agrees.Love the little touch of bling detail on the back paired with the classic buttons.The light fabric and soft periwinkle of the bridesmaids' dresses, combined with the pop of subtle orange in the bouquets created the perfect romantic yet summery look.So much for that 80% chance for storms, huh?  :)Married!!Just as a wedding isn't only about the bride, but about two people coming together, it also takes a village to raise to amazing people such as Kristen & Matt.  I love it when Moms give a toast alongside of Dads!  Not to mention, is Kristen's mom not stunning?!  That dress!  Ladies, you both have impeccable taste.Kristen & Matt's up tempo First Dance to (a personal favorite) "I Choose You" by Sara Bareilles, set the tone for the rest of the night...Last but not least, we snuck these two outside to capture a couple Late Night Portraits!The lights, the buttons, Matt holding onto Kristen as well as showing off his ring, and that touch of bling... It may not have anyone's face, but it sure seems to sum up the day!Congratulations Kristen & Matt!!  Amidst our worries of the never-to-appear storms, we recalled the craziness of the HAIL that showed up smack dab in the middle of their engagement session!  Showing their true out-going spirits, it hardly phased them.  Check it out for yourself, here!
