Can you believe we didn't even make it to the ceremony with Part 1 of Lyss & Drew's Inns of Aurora wedding day in the last blog post? (If you haven't seen that yet, be sure to click over here first). The Inns of Aurora provided the perfect setting for this nature loving couple to not only celebrate in a place meaningful to them, but also treat their guests to something special. It's this combination of personal meaning and attention to the experience of loved ones that I find to be the one common through-line for all of our RMP couples, whether celebrating in their hometown or halfway across the world, in a gothic cathedral or, in this case, barefoot in the grass on the shores of Cayuga Lake. The Inns of Aurora was a perfect setting for Lyss & Drew to create just that combination. Not to mention, the wedding and events team at the Inns of Aurora couldn't have been more of a joy to work with! When you are planning from afar, as Lyss was, there are few things more important than having a flexible, super responsive, team of pros who have your back and understand your vision even over something as simple as emails and texts. Correction, that's what's most important whether you are planning near or far (it can just feel more stressful from far away)!! While these two kept things nice and simple, Lyss also had a clear vision on the overflowing greenery they wanted to surround them as they celebrated all day long.
