Intimate Christmas Wedding - Katherine & David
One of the most important things in making any wedding day perfect is staying true to yourself. When a wedding day honestly reflects the couple, not only is it an even bigger joy for those getting married, it's a thrill for their guests. Katherine & David did just that in creating their own perfect intimate Christmas wedding. They both got ready in the lovely light of their own home and where they could first see each other alongside the very important, Benji, their adorable pup who was instrumental in David's proposal in the first place. They focused the majority of their planning on creating the ceremony of their dreams at First Presbyterian Church, a community they had already called home, complete with the type of music Katherine had always envisioned she would have. Inviting 26 of their closest loved ones, they were able to completely soak in each moment. Benji was a bit confused why his mom wouldn't let him jump up on her like usual! ;-) As you may have already read on our Facebook page, this image summed up so much about Katherine & David's wedding day for me. Leading up to this day, Katherine & I had talked about her childhood vision of walking into a church with an epic cathedral length veil and pipe organ announcing her arrival. Mission accomplished.
Congratulations Katherine & David. Thank you so much for inviting us into these precious moments and entrusting us with the beautiful responsibility of freezing these memories forever.
