The Outing Club Wedding - Katie & Steve Part Two

Laughter and tears continue at The Outing Club during Part Two of Katie and Steve's Big Day, but first we fit in a bit of extra special time with the super cool Mr. Cole.

This next one is one of my favorites and also 100% Cole's idea! (I also loved Katie's simple unique center pieces for the cocktail tables outside)

Speaking of centerpieces...  I love that a having a variety of centerpieces - big, tall, short, candles, flowers, etc - has become popular.  They create a complete look throughout the room by coordinating in flowers or colors, but also keep each table from appearing identical.

Wait a second, you're not a centerpiece!!  :)

Since Katie & Steve had their beautiful First Look before the ceremony, we were able to complete just about all of the formal portraits they wanted ahead of time.  Giving them the opportunity to enjoy all of their cocktail hour and mingle with the family and friends who had come from near and far to be them.  The Outing Club is a beautiful location for enjoying both the grand lawn and veranda outside as well as rockin' the night away in their elegant ballroom.  Once guests made it up to the ballroom, we got things going right away with the toasts, complete with a throw back to the years of Steve WITH hair!  :)

Steve's speech to Cole was a serious tear jerker.

Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but Katie & Steve had WHITEY'S ICE CREAM for dessert.  This just tops the charts!!

While Steve & Katie may have been nice to each other for their cake cutting, Cole's experience was a whole other ball game!  Hehe...

Done for  :)

The rest of the night rocked on with wonderful live music from the Tim Stop Trio.

There's that smile!  :)

This little man just about stole the dance floor!

And last but not least, I had the lucky pleasure of meeting Katie & Steve because of a photo I took outside The Outing Club last fall during Ellen & Chris's wedding that Katie then saw while visiting The Outing Club during her venue search.  Thanks to a different season and temperature, Katie & Steve now have their very own unique image.  Here you go!

Katie, Steve and Cole: Thank you so much for inviting me into your family and allowing me to capture your big day.  I know you all have a fun life ahead together, complete with frogs, toads and anything else Cole might be able to catch!  I can't wait to share another glass (or two) of Red Moscato with you.
