Downtown Chicago Engagement - Stephanie & Steve

I'm fairly certain that every year every Chicagoan around about February or March (or unfortunately sometimes even April depending on how long winter decides to last), wonders why the heck we put up with living in the city.  I know I did. But then summer comes, and THIS happens...

With Joyana & Dave's wedding on the Saturday, followed by Stephanie & Steve's stellar downtown Chicago engagement session on Sunday I was in weekend photography heaven.  And of course, quickly pulled back into loving Chicago once more. Stephanie & Steve were just absolutely amazing.  From the very beginning I loved being able to witness how easily Steve makes Stephanie laugh.

And how much comfort each finds in the other's arms.

We were having such a good time that our late afternoon session quickly crept into the evening...

So we headed downtown for a change in look and scenery.

Whether hanging on the beach or strutting downtown, these two completely rocked it.  I wish we could have 5 more engagement sessions as we prepare for the big day next June!
