Bridgeport Art Center Wedding - Rachel & Matt - Part 2

Can you believe that Part One of Rachel & Matt's Bridgeport Art Center wedding day barely got us to the start of their ceremony? Yea, it was that good. If you haven't seen it yet, be sure to click over (here) first. Today we pick up from where we left off and officially get these two married at their wedding ceremony and reception!Rachel & Matt had the sweetest idea of having their grandparents sign their Ketubah, which was an absolute tear-jerker for me. From there, it was nothing but big smiles as everyone came down the aisle and danced the night away.signing the Ketuba at Bridgeport Art CenterLife in Bloom Chicago wedding flowersFamily processional at indoor Chicago weddingBride cries walking down the aisleBridgeport Art Center wedding ceremonyEmotional first kiss groom and brideJust married at Bridgeport Art Center ChicagoI love the emotion in Rachel & Matt's wedding ceremony.  They were truly present and in the moment all day long.  Before we move on, a quick note on actually soaking in your wedding day. It's the one thing everyone has heard and seldom has a solution to— "Oh my gosh, the day goes by so fast, be sure to soak it in" all of your friends & family tell you, right? But no one gives you an actual solution to soaking it in, do they?I get on a soapbox about this, because after months and months of planning, it's completely unacceptable to me to hear couples say that they woke up the next day in an absolute blur of what happened. These are far too important of memories to let them blur by! With that said, I couldn't be happier to receive this note from Rachel after their wedding:

"Rebecca, you were such a force of calm and positive energy on the wedding day. Thanks to you, I actually remember what it felt like right before our first look and tried to pause before all of the special moments of the night. You were so great at marshaling the bridal party and family and so helpful with making decisions about photo locations. Then, as promised, you did not take us off the dance floor (except for a beautiful sunset shot) and were so stealth for the rest of the night. Your professionalism and confidence made everyone feel comfortable and secure, and it was such a wonderful experience working with you and Vanessa!"

I'm incredibly excited about the images we created for Rachel & Matt, and knowing we helped these two actually remember their day supersedes it all. It is proof that our approach in first and foremost taking care of the two of you, which then just so happens to lead to amazingly authentic photos, is never going to change.Purple napkins on wood table at weddingWedding centerpieces by Life In Bloom floristPurple wedding table with candlesBridgeport Art Center wedding reception decorWedding farm tables with purple flowersPurple floral bridesmaids dressChicago wedding cake simple whiteWedding reception reveal at Bridgeport Art CenterChicago indoor wedding reception venueWedding couple reception toastsReactions to funny wedding toastParents of the bride speechFirst dance at Bridgeport Art Center ChicagoWedding dancing at Bridgeport Art Center
