This is an art, but I do not do it for the art. I am a photographer because of people. The family photo we’ll take with you and your grandma may not win any awards, but it will be so much more important than that. A seemingly simple family photo can transcend time.

A wedding isn’t the time to push creative boundaries. For me, the power of photography lies in its ability to not just show us a memory, but to spur a feeling. It’s looking back and remembering not just what your wedding day looked like, but most of all, what it felt like.

“In life, it’s not where you go, it’s who you travel with.”
-Charles Schulz

Your wedding photography will transport you back to that feeling any time you open your album and share a story with friends and family. It will be inspiration for your niece after she gets engaged in 20 years and it will be at the center of the table on your 50th anniversary. Every time I push the shutter button, I’m thinking about these generations to come. What we create together transports you back in time.

In short, I believe:

  • In quality over quantity.
  • These photos are not only for you to remember, but for people decades from now.
  • Travel is the best form of education.
  • Laughter is a crucial component to any relationship.
  • Creating something beautiful together can and will improve the world.

what Matters Most

For me, this all started with a need to learn about those who came before me. And, as life grew on, a desire to document the spunky personalities of the ones I love.

Printed photos have granted me access to a world that existed before I did. There are people in my life I only know through opening an album and flipping through it. These photos allowed me to feel connected to people in my life I otherwise would never have known. I love being an artist not for crafting something new or edgy, but for the simple act of creating timeless beauty. I believe photography can not only capture a memory but spur a feeling. I believe tradition helps shape who we are, but it is up to ourselves to define how. I believe sharing our stories can change the world and every single person’s story matters.

It’s because of this that I stand for your LEGACY.
